Cheryl Ng

Cheryl graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in 2004 and completed her Master in Manipulative Therapy from the Curtin University of Technology, Australia in 2006.

Prior to joining Core Concepts, Cheryl worked at various hospitals, including Mount Alvernia Hospital. She is experienced in out-patient care and specific post-operative rehabilitation programmes for sports injuries including ACLR, and other orthopaedic conditions such as total hip and knee replacements. She has a keen interest in lumbo-pelvic dysfunctions and women’s health

Sylvia Ho

Sylvia graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia with a Bachelor of Applied Science (physiotherapy) in 1995. Thereafter, she spent 4 years in Sydney and Singapore in both private and public hospitals. Afterwhich, to further her knowledge in backs and necks therapy, she pursued a Master in physiotherapy, specialising in manipulative therapy from University of Melbourne, Australia. She has since worked in private practices and hospital in both Melbourne and Singapore (Mount Elizabeth Hospital) with over 12 years of experience in total.

Sylvia’s current interests are to treat and reduce recurrence of back and neck pain through core stability exercises. She remains actively involved in educational talks to organisations such as JP Morgan, Ministry of Finance, clubs and fitness centres and is a strong champion of Core Stability.

Sylvia is also a specialist advisor to MyHealthScanner, the region’s first on-line real-time health screening tool for 27 major conditions

Chew Pui Wan

Pui Wan graduated from University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) degree. Since 2000, She has experience working in both private hospitals and private practices and has gained extensive expertise in treating musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.

Her specialist interest lies in treating and preventing spinal pain and sports injuries. Being a physiotherapist she strongly believes in getting proper health management for oneself to achieve the best possible quality of life.

Jessica Ellison

Jessica has a BSc Physiotherapy degree from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia. She has had 4 years of swimming teaching/coaching experience and thus has an interest in hydrotherapy and water based exercise.

An attachment for women’s health physiotherapy inspired her interest into this field. She believes an understanding of a condition is integral to it’s management and enjoys the education aspect of physiotherapy treatment as well as looking at a condition holistically.
